The purpose of the Vibration Analysis Trainer Device is to provide M.C. Dean with a device that is capable of training employees in-house to use highly sensitive vibration sensors to diagnose and correct machine imbalances for predictive maintenance. In addition to providing simulated vibrations, the device contains a mechanism to eliminate them from the device. The vibrations are induced through a rotating shaft and are variable with the use of moveable balance rotors. By placing various weights along the radius of the balance rotors, vibrations in the device can be heightened or dampened. The guidance to add or remove trim weights is provided through the accelerometer sensor to detect and correct the offset weight in order to achieve a steady baseline vibration, and thus balanced device.
