The Future of U.S.–Latin American Relations: A Discussion with Michael Shifter Open Access Deposited
Michael Shifter is president of the Inter-American Dialogue. Since 1993 he has been an adjunct professor of Latin American politics at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Shifter writes and comments widely on U.S.-Latin American relations and hemispheric affairs, and has frequently testified before the U.S. Congress. Aaron Rosen is a dual degree master’s student between the London School of Economics and George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. In London he focused on the political economy of international trade and imperial history, and in Washington he specializes on U.S. foreign policy. He is interested in Western hemispheric affairs and Transatlantic relations. Aaron Rosen is the interview editor at IAR.
