Dementia Art Therapy Alliance at GW

Open Access Deposited

The Dementia Art Therapy Alliance at GW is a community impact initiative developed and led by Sabrina Yeh that engages student volunteers to provide weekly interactive art sessions for senior care residents. Partnered with Residences at Thomas Circle in Washington, D.C., the student organization creates safe, inclusive spaces designed to empower participants and their caregivers while promoting self-expression and shared understanding. Focusing strongly on collaboration, the project strives to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of those living with dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases.
