THE [EXTENDED] WORLD OF ART CARGO

The following is an extended artist statement discussing the formation of the identity of Art Cargo and its components. The paper will discuss the impact of storytelling as a driving force in Art Cargo's practice. The story represents threads of thoughts that transcend beyond the gallery space allowing accessibility to the general community via the engagement of the senses. References are provided that relate to specific examples in Art Cargo's work. In addition, the artist includes several key components crucial to her working philosophy.
