Limitless is a documentary project on boxers who train at Nomis Boxing Gym in Washington, D.C. The gym runs on a shoestring budget, but still provides a safe space for children and nearby residents to grow and be themselves in a community that was once riddled by violence, but that is now beginning to change. Through positive reinforcement, mentorship and physical activity, boxers experience a change from within. This multimedia project consists of a portrait series with original poetry, a short documentary film, a community engagement component and a website. Each component paints a wider picture of how important Nomis Boxing Gym is to the small community on Benning Road, Northeast.
