Grounded

Grounded is a video documentary that examines the earth's healing power on a combat veteran. Today's veterans face considerable challenges as they reintegrate into American society. Many have experienced trauma from tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan- or both. Additionally, despite myriad federal and state programs designed to address the problem, unemployment among veterans is more than twice the national average. Using original and file footage, Grounded examines the life of U.S.Army Veteran Brian Yoder as he transitions from combat aviator to general manager of Whitehall Farms, a sustainable livestock and agriculture farm in Fairfax, Virginia.
