Open AccessThis thesis research document is one of two documents used to describe a conceptual exhibition design. This exhibit at The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. shows women at the vanguard of the changing domestic environment; creatively contributing to the rapid domestic transformations occurring in the 20th century. This exhibit will show women and use the home as a lenses to both observe and document greater social change.
