The Eidolon
Open AccessMy thesis exhibition, The Eidolon, consisted of photographs and a video that portray my research on the issues of identity and self knowledge. I consider this series of work a process of investigation in self in which I confront myself with external representations of the vague dreams that I was only able to see in my mind. This method of constant self-confrontation creates an opportunity for me to to view myself as both subject and object, which helps me maintain a more unbiased observation. I believe that in this process I am able to uncover various hidden layers of my identity.
