In or Out

IN or Out is a multimedia project about homelessness and the housing problem in Washington, D.C. This project explores the struggles and daily life of two homeless individuals; Berry Morrow, 47, and Willy Walker, 60, living on the streets of the District. One is trying to get back on his feet and move into permanent housing while the other lost hope on housing as he is registered as a sex offender. The issues covered in the movie are alcoholism, sex offender registry, public housing, housing programs, housing voucher, health and sanitation crisis. Through a series of photographs of the two homeless individuals and a documentary film, the project comes together on the website  www.inoroutproject.com, where the viewer can travel along the journey of the two individuals destined either to move inside a home or stay out on the street.
