How Do I Get There? Discovering Ways of Navigation Open Access
The proposed exhibition is based on the concept of learning navigation and the technological advances of navigation. The target audience for the proposed exhibition is Children with Disabilities. A goal for the exhibition is to design an environment that is challenge free for Children with Disabilities. Also, the exhibition will encourage all kidsto engage with each other and take advantage of a hands-on experience. The exhibition will include the objects from the current exhibition Time and Navigation from the Smithsonian's National Air and Space museum. The exhibition will be located at the Please Touch Children's Museum in Philadelphia, PA. The design of the exhibition willinclude four main sections: Sea Navigation, Air Navigation, Space Navigation, and Satellite Navigation. Each section will include objects and activities for children to enjoy. The proposed exhibition will give an opportunity to all children, with or without disabilities, to come and enjoy themselves in a dynamic environment.
