Improving Child Sleep Quality through Proper Bedtime Routine
Open AccessSleep is important to support early childhood development, where it affects multiple aspects of early childhood development. It is advisable to have a consistent bedtime routine as well as a proper schedule to maintain the quality of sleep. By promoting bedtime routine, this paper focuses on the development and wellbeing in early childhood through the help of security items such as blankets or stuffed animals that are often important at this age.Using the analogous design system of how airports are designed, this paper talks about the main idea of finding creative ways to solve problems through design. Through the authoritative goal to encourage people to follow the rules and heed authority, airport designers around the world use cues including different colors and shapes of signs, carpeting patterns change, and large art pieces serve as distinctive place markers for orientation. Inspired by the idea of this design system of making the experience as comfortable as possible, an audio-sensory quilted blanket was invented to create the environment necessary for toddlers to calm down and get ready to have a proper sleep.
