Polya Urn Models with Nonconstant Additions

In this thesis, the discrete urn model with alternating Polya matrices is considered. A Central Limit Theorem is conjectured, and it is demonstrated using a detailed Maple simulation. Maple simulation also throws light on certain closely related problems with other alternating criteria. Some known results and methodologies in urn models are also discussed.
