A Set Design for a Production of Marc Blitzstein's The Cradle Will Rock The Cradle Will Rock, with lyrics and music by Marc Blitzstein, was produced by the George Washington University Department of Theatre and Dance in the spring semester of 2014. Under the direction of Leslie Jacobson along with set designer Jie Yu, lighting designer Izzy Eindsidler and costume designer Reema Al-Bawardi, the show opened on March 27th in the Dorothy Betts Marvin Theatre on the George Washington University campus in Washington DC.
