Forever - is composed of Nows -

This written thesis serves as a complement to my artistic practice and provides a framework within which to conceptualize and consider my recent work. In this text, I intentionally mirror the process-based nature of my practice and include reflections on the relationship between action and intention, moments of fear and pleasure, and philosophies of seeing. Ultimately, this text walks the reader through artistic works I have made over the last three years, focusing heavily on my Master of Fine Arts Solo Thesis Exhibition, Forever—is composed of Nows—, in which I presented large scale abstract prints on canvas that question the relationship between painting and photography.
