This thesis is an extended artist statement meant to provide context for an art installation named Constructing Alice that was created during the second year of the Master of Fine Arts program at the George Washington University. Constructing Alice was the artists' interpretation and realization of Lewis Carroll's, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
