Determinants of Perceived Corruption: A Cross-National Study
Open AccessThis thesis examines how sociodemographic, political, and economic variables shape respondents' perceptions of corruption in the public service. It identifies both individual-level and aggregate-level predictors. Using the International Social Survey Programme database, I analyze and compare data from twenty-four countries to learn whether these predictors have the same degree of influence cross-nationally.
