Numerical Methods for Block Copolymer Systems with Long Range Interaction

In this doctoral dissertation, we present second-order stabilized semi-implicit methods for solving the penalized Allen-Cahn-Ohta-Kawasaki (pACOK) and the penalized Allen-Cahn-Nakazawa-Ohta (pACNO) equations. In the numerical methods, some nonlocal linear stabilizing terms are introduced and treated implicitly with other linear terms, while the nonlinear and nonlocal terms are treated explicitly.
