I'll Meet You in Retrograde
Open AccessI’ll Meet You in Retrograde is a photographic and literary body of work investigating the recesses of memory, family, femininity, and religion by navigating haze and clarity, dark and light, and everything in between. Through the lens of Gaston Bachelard's The Poetics of Space, the image is reconstructed as a house structure reflecting the intertwined consciousness of the family. This disjointed consciousness has been frayed by the American evangelical piety, slowly spiraling into fractured recollections.
